A Filipina singer, songwriter, and performer based in Italy, whose voice carries the spirit of childhood dreams and the power of late beginnings.
Her journey into the world of performance began not in the spotlight, but in the karaoke-filled streets of her hometown - a community where singing was both a pastime and a language of connection.
Though the dream of performing in musical theater stirred in her from a young age, it wasn’t until the age of 27 that she began turning that dream into reality.
A serendipitous encounter with her current vocal coach Susanna Zanellato, became the catalyst that ignited her artistic journey.
Since then, Nes has been living the life she once only imagined - performing across stages in Italy, merging her love of music with her passion for travel.
Her formal training began during the pandemic, when she studied basic acting for film and theater through online masterclasses with an award-winning Filipina actress, Angeli Bayani.
There, she discovered the Meisner Technique, which she continued to hone under the same mentor.
In 2021, she took her first in-person steps onto the theatrical stage by joining an English-language theater program at a local cultural center.
In 2022, faced with the choice between pursuing theater or music more seriously, she chose music - a pivotal decision that transformed her path.
With no prior formal training but a lifelong instinct for melody and rhythm, Nes enrolled in music school and began to evolve as a vocalist and artist.
Her musical roots are deeply personal and communal, echoing the karaoke songs of her childhood and the stories of her people.
Stylistically, Nes moves between genres with curiosity and emotion. Her music draws from pop, musical and more recently, explorations into pop-rap.
Her approach is both versatile and evolving - an ongoing artistic exploration guided by emotion, experience, and experimentation.
Since 2022, she has taken part in numerous masterclasses with renowned figures in the Italian music scene, and has performed as a guest on various Italian television and radio programs. Her talent and dedication have led her to compete and win awards in several international festivals, earning her recognition as a rising voice in both local and international stages.
Currently, Nes continues to study and train vocally, deepening her craft while writing and composing original songs.
Whether interpreting the works of others or creating her own, her performances always carry a story - often her own, always heartfelt.
Looking ahead, she remains open to the unknown, driven by a singular hope: to live fully, make music, and let her heart be heard - not just to entertain, but to inspire.
